How to approach this passage

Compare each accommodation option using its own name, quoted room rent, bills and location. A lower advertised room rent does not necessarily mean a lower total cost when utilities are extra.

Worked answer review

Adapted Question 23 asks which option has quoted room rent starting at £45; that is E, House Shares. Question 25 specifies £60 weekly rent including bills except telephone, which uniquely identifies B, Student Village. These precise stems avoid ambiguity between several bills-inclusive residences.

Review your reasoning

  1. Locate the part of the supplied passage that supports your answer. Keep claims made in the text separate from your own knowledge.
  2. Check whether the task requires a letter, a short answer or a True/False/Not Given judgement. Follow the instruction for this question group.
  3. After checking the key, identify whether an error came from locating information, interpreting a statement or entering an answer in the wrong form.
